A Twitter spokesperson pushed back on the reports, calling the whistleblower complaint inaccurate and opportunistic.
Agrawal reportedly sent anemail to employeesTuesday morning addressing the complaint.
The complaint is already sparking scrutiny from US lawmakers.

The SEC and FTC declined to comment.
The DOJ didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
