Explanation
This formula usesstructured referencesto refer to the “Amount” column in each table.
In addition, the formula will work even if the tables are located on different sheets in a workbook.
Note: the total row must be enabled.
If you disable a total row, the formula will return the #REF error.
These values can be numbers, cell references, ranges, arrays, and constants, in any combination.
SUM can handle up to 255 individual arguments.
