Sony reportedly plans to launch a new subscription game service for itsPlayStation consolesthat’ll compete with Microsoft’sXbox Game Pass.
The new service will reportedly merge Sony’s existing subscriptions,PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now.
PS Plus and PS Now both offer online access to games, but they have little overlapping content.
Sony plans to stick with PlayStation Plus branding but phase out PlayStation Now, according to Bloomberg.
The new service is reportedly expected to be available on the PS5 and PS4.
PS Plus and PS Now both currently cost $10 a month or $60 a year.
PlayStation didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
