A mysterious hacker group by the name Darkside has donated stolen bitcoin money to two charitable organizations.
Children International is a global non-profit humanitarian organization that helps children break the cycle of poverty.
According to theBBC, Children International will not be keeping the money.
Apparently, the hackers donated via bitcoin and cryptocurrency donation platform called The Giving Block.
The Giving Block told the BBC that it was not aware these donations were made by cybercriminals.
We are still working to determine if these funds were actually stolen.
