Microsoft's Next Special Event Is Happening Sept. 21

An invitation to the Sept. 21 show in New York City went out to the media Aug. 17.

In October last year, Microsoft hada show focusing on its Surfacehardware.

The company unveiled theSurface Pro 9, theSurface Laptop 5and theSurface Studio 2 Plus.

Microsoft continues to make AI a focus for the company, incorporating AI chat into itsEdge browserandBing search engine.

It also launched a tool calledWindows Copilot, which brings an AI chat interface to Windows.

Microsoft could be looking to make AI a fixture in its other products.

September should be a big month for tech company events.

Apple is expected to hold an event in September to reveal thenext iPhone.

And Meta and Google tend to have their own events around the same time as well.
