Recently, Microsoft has announced a major change regarding Windows 10 and reserved space.
Let’s see this new feature in detail.
That happens because Windows doesnt peek if the gadget has enough space before initializing.
And the solution of Microsoft is to manually delete unnecessary temporary files to make enough space for the update.
However, this problem is more serious with little storage space.
And it is unnecessary to set anything up since this process will automatically run in the back graound.
And you’re free to check the size of the reserved space on your system.
Just navigate to search forStoragesettings, clickShow more categories, and hitSystem & reservedto see the size.
But, you have some capabilities to reduce the amount of space reserved.
If the update needs more space than is reserved, it will automatically use other avaialble free space.
Although the feature cant be removed, Micrsooft classes it as an optional feature.
To reduce the reserved space, you’ve got the option to delete any of unwanted optional applications.
If you want to enable it on your PC, you oughta runWindows 10 Insider Build 18298or newer.
