The latest addition to the Microsoft Edge is a free-to-use built-in VPN.
This newly added VPN service will go by the name Edge Secure web link.
The built-in VPN in Microsoft Edge is powered by Cloudflare.
Once the feature is released publically it can be turned on using the three-dot menu.
To use the service you need a Microsoft account as well.
As a result, your usage will be tracked.
Clearly, the free-to-use VPN offered by Microsoft is not an alternative to feature-packed paid VPN services.
Its worth noting that, the feature is still under development and hasnt even reached the initial testing phase.
