The troubleshooting methods provided here for the fix may require you to perform some advanced operations on your rig.
Thankfully, Windows also has a robust security tool built into its system in the form of Windows Security.
To use Windows Security, follow the steps right below.
1.Open theSettingsapp on your machine from the Start menu or by pressing theWindows + Ikeyboard shortcut.
2.select thePrivacy and securitytab on the left pane and select theWindows Securityoption.
Once the scan is complete, the Command Prompt tool should start working on your Windows 11 equipment.
To boot your PC or laptop in Safe Mode:
1.Click theStartbutton on your Windows 11 Homescreen.
2.Now, while pressing and holding theShift buttonon your keyboard, clickthePower buttonand reset your unit.
3.Once the machine restarts, it should boot inSafe Mode.
Now, while in Safe Mode, check whether the Command Prompt tool is working or not.
So, to initiate the SFC scan:
1.pick the search icon/ bar on the Windows Taskbar.
2.Search forPowershelland click theRun as administratorbutton.
Hence, after the restart, the Command Prompt tool should start working again.
However, if it does not, spin up the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) scans.
These scans are similar to the SFC scan and check for issues in the Windows system images.
To trigger the DISM scans on your Windows 11 gear:
1.Search for thePowershelltool and run it as administrator.
4.cycle your equipment after completion.
2.In the followingSystem Propertieswindow, switch to theAdvancedtab and click theEnvironmental Variablesbutton.
3.Now, select thePathoption under Variable and click theEditbutton.
2.Click theAccountstab on the left navigation pane and select theFamily & other usersoption.
The option might also be titled as Other users.
3.On the following page, click theAddaccountbutton.
4.On the pop-up window that shows up, select theI dont have this persons sign-in informationoption.
5.Now,follow the on-screen instructionsto create your new user account in Windows 11.
2.smack the down arrow beside theProcessorsoption to expand it.
3.Right-choose the graphics processor and click theUpdate driverbutton.
4.On the following window, select theSearch automatically for driversoption.
ensure you have an active internet connection.
5.Wait for Windows to check for the latest graphics driver updates and automatically install them on your unit.
6.Restartyour gear after completion.
2.Go to theWindows updatetab on the left pane and click theCheck for updatesbutton.
3.Once the updates show up, click theDownload and installbutton to download the updates right away.
The handy Command Prompt tool should start operating on your Windows 11 machine as usual again.
