Check the Battery Status Of AirTag

As you know AirTag comes with replaceable CR 2032 batteries.

AirTag has two sides one with white color and the other with stainless steel.

To do a factory reset press the stainless steel side of AirTag.

After pressing down start rotating the stainless steel cover counterclockwise.

You have to rotate it until it reaches the end and stops rotating.

Now you will be able to separate the white side and stainless steel side.

It is the same process that is being used to remove the battery of AirTag.

Take out the battery and put it back where it was.

Now press down the battery until you hear a sound from AirTag.

You might be thinking its done nope, remember I had said the process is a little bit tedious.

You have to repeat the very same process four more times.

When you have done the process and heard the sound five times.

Now put the stainless steel cover on AirTag.

After making the alignment, press it and you will hear a sound.

Now rotate the stainless still side so AirTag gets locked as it was before.

Tap on it and complete the usual setup process.

For most of the users, It should fix the issue.

In that case, get in touch with Apple support and ask for a replacement.
