If you want to replace information, just select a cell and start typing.
Then key in enter or tab to confirm.
The contents of the cell will be completely replaced by the new information.
Then bang out enter or tab to confirm the change.
Another way to edit content already in a cell is to press the F2 key.
Like double-clicking, this brings the cursor into the cell where you could make changes.
