How to Delete Single Image/Video from Instagram Carousel Posts?
With that said, check out the steps right below:
1.pop crack open the Instagram appon your smartphone.
2.Tap your profile iconon the bottom navigation bar.
3.Locate the carousel postthat includes the image/video you want to delete andtap it to open.
4.Next, tap thethree-dot buttonat the top right corner of the post.
5.On the following pop-up menu, tap theEditbutton.
6.You will now be in theEdit Info UIfor the selected carousel post.
Pro-tip:From here, you canadd tagsandedit the Alt Textof the images or videos included in the post.
7.Slide through the images/videosto find the one you want to delete.
9.On the following prompt, tap theDeleteoption to confirm your action.
Note:We will get back to this prompt in a later section of this article.
Tap theDonebutton to exit the Edit Info UI for the carousel post.
For this demonstration, we used Microsoft Edge on a Windows 11 laptop.
2.Log into your Instagram profile, if it is not logged in already.
3.Now, on theHomepage,tap the name on your profile iconat the top right corner.
Note:snag the name/Instagram handle of your profile andNOT the profile image.
4.Locate the carousel postfrom which you want to delete an image or video andclick it to open.
6.On the following menu, click theEditoption.
7.Use the arrow to slide through the images/videosto locate the one you want to delete.
8.Then, click theDelete(bin) button at the top right corner of the image.
9.Confirm your actionon the following prompt.
10.After the deletion, click theDonebutton to save the carousel post with the other images/videos intact.

4.On the following menu, tap theDelete Storyoption.
