Daniel Radcliffe Had the Best Response to Will Smith and Chris Rock's Oscar Drama

The slap was a perfect storm of sorts.

First, it took place during theOscars, one of the most watched events of the year.

It became a mirror of sorts, reflecting back the world views of individuals and sometimes entire groups.

It very quickly became a bit… much.

While promoting his upcoming movie The Lost City onGood Morning Britain, Radcliffe essentially refused to entertain a view.

‘“Saying nothing seems like a good tactic.

Particularly when there’s no right answer.

Support Will Smith and it’s all too easy to be accused of supporting violence and/or abuse.

Support Chris Rock and it’s easy to be accused of ableism.

There’s a rock, scissors, paper element to it all and there’s no real middle ground.

Sometimes it’s simply best not to contribute to the noise.
