CNN Plus to Shut Down Today, Two Days Earlier Than Expected

CNN Plus will shut down just shy of one month online.

The servicewill shut down April 28, according to CNN, two days earlier than employeeswere originally told.

The streaming service, which featured news and original shows, may have been doomed from the start.

Discovery in the next week.

Subscriptions to the platform cost $6 per month, or $60 per year.

Customers will receive prorated refunds, according to CNN.

Discovery didn’t respond to a request for comment.
