Calculate years between dates

To calculate the number of years between two dates, you can use the YEARFRAC function, which will return a decimal number representing the fraction of a year between two dates. In the example shown, the formula in D5 is: =YEARFRAC(B6,C6) As the formula is copied down, it returns the number of years between each start and end date as a decimal number. In the example shown, column D results use a number format with 2 decimal places.
