Microplastics are found at thedeepest point in the ocean. They’re in thesnows of Antarctica. So of course these tiny particles of plastic waste are also found in the sticky traps of spider webs. Microplastics can come from many sources, including textiles, water bottles, takeout containers and food packaging. The researchers included particles from tires under the umbrella of microplastics.
